Senior Consultant Susanah Ng presented on “Overdue Payables and International Contract Disputes” at the Football Association of Malaysia Club Licensing Workshop held today in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Susanah discussed the operation of the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players (RSTP), focusing on overdue payables (Article 12bis), the amendments to the RSTP which will take effect from 1 June 2018, and FIFA procedures in international contract disputes. She also fielded questions regarding various international regulatory matters.
The workshop was attended by representatives responsible for player status and club licensing matters of 22 clubs participating in the Malaysian Super League (12), Malaysian Premier League (8), and FAM Cup (2).
Presentations were also made by FIFA (Professional Football Department), the Asian Football Confederation (Legal Department), and the Football Association of Malaysia (Club Licensing Department).
